- Bring freshly drawn water to the boil.
- Select the correct size of cafetière.
- Warm the cafetière with hot water.
- Add the appropriate sachet of Twinings Speciality
Cafetière Coffee:
2 servings = 1 x 2-cup sachet
4 servings = 2 x 2-cup sachets
8 servings = 1 x 8-cup sachet or 3 x 2-cup sachet
- Fill the cafetière with the just boiled water to
an inch/3cm below the rim and stir thoroughly.
Don't make coffee with boiling water, coffee boiled is coffee
spoiled. The water temperature should be between 92°C and 96°C.
- Place the lid with the
plunger up and leave standing for 4-6 minutes.
- Slowly depress the plunger and serve.
Alternatively give the customer control to 'plunge' when
appropriate.
