Cafetiere Coffee
Pour & Serve Coffee

Cafetiere

  1. Bring freshly drawn water to the boil.

  2. Select the correct size of cafetière.

  3. Warm the cafetière with hot water.

  4. Add the appropriate sachet of Twinings Speciality Cafetière Coffee:
    2 servings = 1 x 2-cup sachet
    4 servings = 2 x 2-cup sachets
    8 servings = 1 x 8-cup sachet or 3 x 2-cup sachet

  5. Fill the cafetière with the just boiled water to an inch/3cm below the rim and stir thoroughly.
Don't make coffee with boiling water, coffee boiled is coffee spoiled. The water temperature should be between 92°C and 96°C.

  6. Place the lid with the plunger up and leave standing for 4-6 minutes.

  7. Slowly depress the plunger and serve.
Alternatively give the customer control to 'plunge' when appropriate.
